A-Level Maths｜Differentiation 题目做对了，为什么还是丢分？

很多同学会求导，却容易在实际应用题中丢分。

例如：

\(y=x^3-6x^2+9x+2\)

Find the stationary points.

Step 1：Differentiate

\(\frac{dy}{dx}=3x^2-12x+9\)

Step 2：令 \(\frac{dy}{dx}=0\)

\(3(x-1)(x-3)=0\)

所以 \(x=1\) 或 \(x=3\)。

Step 3：代回原式求 y-coordinate。

得到两个 stationary points：

\((1,6)\) 和 \((3,2)\)。

老师的小 Tips：题目要求 stationary points 时，通常需要完整坐标，而不只是 x 的值。记得看清题目到底要求什么！
